  • Depart United States for Dublin, Ireland

Day 2 - June 21

  • Arrive in Dublin
  • Visit Irish National Stud and Gardens to learn about thoroughbred breeding and wander the japanese Gardens
  • Overnight in Portlaoise

Day 3 - June 22

  • Visit Kilkenny Castle, which dates back to the thirteenth century 
  • Farm tour and tea & scones at a Holstein Friesian dairy with a 40 head rotary milker
  • Overnight in Thurles 

Day 4 - June 23

  • Visit the rock of Cashel
  • Sheep farm tour - This operation has around 700 ewes and 180 ewe lamb replacements
  • Tour the Jameson Distillery
  • Overnight in Cork

Day 5 - June 24

  • Visit Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone (if you want)
  • Water buffalo dairy tour and cheese tasting - they have more than 700 head!
  • Overnight in Cork

Day 6 - June 25

  • Farm tour - barley, wheat, rape seed, corn, oats, and beef
  • Walk along the magnificent cliffs of Moher then travel through the Burren
  • Overnight in Galway

Day 7 - June 26

  • Drive the Connemara Loop
  • Visit Connemara Abalone for an aquaculture experience
  • Tour Kylemore Abbey
  • Overnight in Galway

Day 8 - June 27

  • Farm Tour - A sheep, cow Calf, and potato Operation
  • Visit the CĂ©ide Fields, a stone Age monument with 6,000 year old stone-walled fields
  • Overnight in Sligo

Day 9 - June 28

  • Head into Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom
  • Belfast City Tour for local history
  • Visit the Titanic Museum
  • Overnight in Belfast

Day 10 - June 29

  • Free day in Dublin in small groups - An opportunity to be independent & visit personal interests while remaining easily accessible to chaperones
  • Overnight in Dublin

Day 11 - June 30

  • Tour of the Christchurch Cathedral
  • Visit to Epic Irish Emigration Museum
  • Tour the Guinness Storehouse
  • Dinner & a show at the Merry Ploughboy
  • Overnight in Dublin

Day 12 - July 1

  • Return to the United States
